Services are held each Sunday in the chapel at 10.00 a.m. and 6 p.m.
If the minister is not preaching, there is often a visiting preacher or one of the regular congregation; sometimes the service consists of prayer, reading, meditation or testimony by those members of the congregation who wish to contribute.
The style is traditional. The hymns are usually but not always Welsh; the sermons are usually but not always in English. Bible readings and prayers can be in either language, and are sometimes given in one language and repeated or summarised in the other.
There will a friendly and genuine welcome in the congregation for speakers of either language, and to Welsh learners.
The hymnbook is Caneuon Ffydd. Preachers choose their own Bible version.
Baptism is by total immersion, repentance towards God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ being prior requirements. The section of this website with recorded sermons contains a recording made at a baptismal service at Bethel, and may be accessed via this link: https://youtu.be/xHTIaFWnQAw
The Lord’s Supper is practised about once a month in memory of Christ, till he comes, the Table being open to all who believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. These ordinances are seen as more than bare outward symbols, but as means of grace, as channels of God’s active blessing to believers.

There is also a monthly prayer meeting for revival in the area, at which Christians of a number of congregations gather, including from Bethel.
